What Are Skipped Beats On Wrist Suggestive Of?

Hi Dr Rynne, I have recently expirenced a heart beat at my wrist(s) that skips a beat returns to a normal beat (I assume) for several beats then skips again. However with a stethescope my heart beat in my chest was strong so I was told at the VA facility by a RN. My daughter also A RN said she was not aware of anything like that also. I recently went to a cardiologist had a EKG and wore a moniter for 24 hours. The Doc was there for the EKG however I don t recall what if anything was said. I don t have any symptoms. Have you ever had a patient with this problem? Thanks. Guy Paris
