What Are Symptoms Of Typhoid?
Dear GP,
I hv been suffering slight fever since Sunday, with severe lethargy feeling of weakness, and back neck pain. Sometimes, nausea appears, and today, the third day, minor pain was felt on left abdomen. I am still feeling lethargic though last night I was able to sweat.
Do you think its necessary to do a Typhpoid check , tmrw ?

Hi,
Continuous fever for 5-7 days with some abdominal pain,discomfort, nausea or stomach upset indicates doubt of typhoid.
Specific test for typhoid is Widal test.
It becomes positive after about a week.
Meanwhile take light diet and take paracetamol tablet to bring down fever.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
