What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Radiology ?
My father has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and has been sitting alot. He has extreme pain with his tailbone. Doctor s mentioned he may want to try radiology for the pain. Could you let me know if that is practiced much and give me the pros and cons of the radiology. He is pretty much beaten up by the chemo therapy . Thank you.

ya..........radiotherapy can be used to relieve symptoms like pain as a palliative therapy.................it will cause shrinkage of tumour and thereby decrease the pain caused by pressure...also it can prevent blockage of bowel due to shirnkage caused by radiotherapy
