What Are The Adverse Effects Of Akt4 On Liver?

Hi sir, I am 89 born.Since I had a extra growth in my neck I had been to doctor in appolo n by the test I get to know tat I have tb and she said tat it wnt spread but u ve to take the treatment for 1 yr..now I completed 5 months of treatment..in which 2 months I took Akt4 and after tat Akt2..and even now I am continuing..but my parents are scared tat if I take tablets daily my lever s gonna effect..n doctr told me to continue my treatment for another 7 months..til now I dint ve any problem aftr starting my treatment

Welcome to HCM!
You are taking treatment Tuberculosis of lymph nodes (glands in the neck).
Initially 4 drugs are given in the form of AKT4 for a period of 2 months, this is followed by three drugs in the form of AKT3 for a period of 10 months.
Most of the drugs used in these regimens can produce toxicity in the liver.

If you develop pain in upper abdomen with yellowish discoloration of the skin, fever etc. then you will have to stop the treatment and consult your doctor at Apollo so that he can use the alternate medicines to treat the infection.
As long as you do not get these problems you can continue the treatment.
