What Are The After Effects Of Quitting Oxycodone?

I have prescription for oxycodone for 8 months and I want to stop taking this drug. I don t want to get sick by stoping the drug and I am looking for a doctor to treat me in his office for few days. I have insurance and I want to know when I can start it and where I can find this doctor at soon as possible

Hi ... Oxycodone is an opioid and it causes dependence when taken for long period of time. For this reason, the doses has to be tapered over weeks to avoid precipitation of withdrawal symptoms.
