What Are The Alternative Treatment Options For High BP Apart From Modern Medicine?
I have been having some fast palpitations last couple of days, and discovered I had 134/94 high blood pressure. No previous experience of the same. I ma a 54 year old lady. The doctor has recommended Telma 40 in the morning along with Tab clonotril (0.5mg) in the evening...........i am a little vary of haivng them as I do n ot want to be dependant on these meds for life.......
There are some life style changes which you may to adopt for better control of high blood pressure. Advice 1. Continue anti-hypertensive as suggested by your doctor 2. Start workout like walking, jogging, cycling, or swimming 3. Take diet rich in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables 4. Avoid oily and high cholesterol foods such as egg yolk and milk products etc 5. Eat less salt preferably less than 2 grams per day 6. Avoid smoking, alcohol, coffee and caffeinated beverages 7. Lose extra weight if you are overweight 8. Reduce your metal stress because stress activates sympathetic system and increases BP 9. Monitor your BP regularly 10. Investigation – lipid profile Thanks
