What Are The Best Treatments For Resting Heart Rates And Will Smoking Has Any Effect On That ?
I am 32 years old, 5'9" and 210 lbs. I have a resting heart rate of about 93-97 and the last time my blood pressure was taken it was 121/79. Should I be concerned about my resting heart rate? For added perspective, even when I was highly athletic as a senior in High School @ 5'9" but only weighed 160 lbs, my resting heart rate was between 87 and 93. When I was in the Marine Corps and weighed approximately 180 lbs and was very active my resting heart rate was still around 90. Given that my blood pressure appears normal I was just curious as to why my resting heart rate seems so high. I have also been smoke free for 9 months but previously had been a daily smoker of about 3-5 cigarettes per day since the age of 17 or 18.
Hi. as per your history the heart rate is pretty same all the times. This can be taken as normal if your Blood Pressure is in the said range. If you have no other problems you can just forget about it.
