What Are The Cares And For How Long The Same Should Be Taken On Removal Of Bcc Nodule From Nose?
Hi I am 50 and having a nodule bcc removed from my nose, near the left nostril , a minimum of 6mil.wide A skin graft will be used. The surgeon says I can t do anything for 3 weeks after or it wont take. No cookin, driving , housework. it s impossible as i am the mother of 2 teenage boys. How necessary is this for recovery?. Also he said I can t take vitamins or herbs for 2 weeks prior. What do you think?
It is crucial to follow the plan given prior and after the operation to avoid on table and post surgery complications. Skin grafts are very sensitive procedure and the body needs time to adjust to the change, which takes a few weeks time. The recovery period for skin graft have improved in past decade significantly, and 3 weeks rest is important due the fact that the tissue around the area forms new blood vessels with the graft laid. In addition, use of supplements and vitamins prior to the procedure must be avoided to prevent possible complication of bleeding and unwanted drug interaction.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
