What Are The Chances Of An Testicle Implant In Case Of Atrophied Scrotum ?
I had my left undescended testicle removed at age 14. The right testicle is large and perfectly normal. I am now 34 and 20 years post removal. Due to the length of time, my scrotum has significantly atrophied and/or drawn very tight. I now want an implant on the left side, but fear that the atrophied scrotum may prevent this.
Hello Thanks for query. You have undergone Orchidectomy (Removal of left testis) in childhood and want to go for Testicular Implant .
Though scrotal sac looks atrophied it is capacious enough and can be stretched to accommodate implant. You can certainly go for implantation of Silicon testis .It will not pose any difficulty in putting it in scrotal sac .
