My cousin is about to undergo a surgery to remove a block in her artery. I know that the block is casued due to plague because of B.P. I would like to know is there chances of getting this blocks even after they are removed and how much time is required for the patient to rest to be active.
Respected Sir, hi there are always chances of recurrent blockages which should be of less concern when you are on antiplatelet agents along with lifestyle modifications which include dietary management , regular walking, control of BP,Sugar, Cholestrol, regular YOGA ,avoiding tobacco products and smoking.regarding second query , patient can be active within some 8-10 days as these are percutaneous interventional day care procedures .thanks regards hope this clears your queries.
