What Are The Chances Of Coming Out Of Coma After Opening Eyes?

If a male 73 years old had open heart surgery for the second time and surgery was fine but developed fluid in lungs several times then toxins in blood now last Friday was flat lined and brought back after 15 - 20 mins but is in a coma but b/p is normal, opened eyes twice, breathing on own what are chances of coming out of the coma?

there are many types of coma and whether or not someone regains consciousness depends on the cause. if your family member suffered low oxygen levels during the flat line then the prognosis is poor. this is something you should discuss with the doctors treating him
