What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy When Missed The Contraceptive Pills?

hi, so i have been on the combination birth control pill for about a month now. i was on my 1st week of my 2nd month on the pill and i missed 4 consecutive pills.(wednesday, thursday, friday, and saturday) i then had unprotected sex the next day on sunday and now i am concerned that i might be pregnant. are my chances pretty high? the last day of my last period was may 8th and it lasted 4 days.

Hello,

You have to take the contraceptive pills regularly, on the same time everyday without forgetting for the best efficacy. In case you forget taking the pills you should take it as soon as you remember. Since you have missed taking regular contraceptive pills and had unprotected sex, you have high risk of getting pregnant.

You should always take emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected sex. You are suggested to visit a gynecologist and get clinically examined. Get tests and investigations done so that you can be managed at the earliest.
