What Are The Chances To Get Pregnant For A 50 Year Woman With Regular Menses?

I have been taking prenatal vitamins , drinking green tea , being healthy as I can. I exercise etc. I look like I m 38 to 40 years old and I happen to have just turned 50. As crazy as this may sound.....I have been seriously thinking about trying to have a baby with my partner , he is 41. What do you think my chances of conceiving are? I still have regular periods. I do not have a weight issue. Though my thyroid may be underactive. Am going to see a doctor soon regarding this.

Hi,
You need to do some tests to check your ovarian reserve status. AMH is the blood test to be done along with some other hormone levels. Quality of eggs become poor with age. If all tests are good, then you can definitely try to concieve. However, assisted reproduction may be required.
