What Are The Findings From The Hysterosalpingogram?
Hi, I am 23 years old and last January I had an ectopic pregnancy. This past November I had a hysterosalpingogram done and the findings were: plain film appears unremarkable. Contrast filled uterine cavity is in normal limits. Fallopian tubes are occluded bilaterally at the level of axillary portion. There is mild to moderate dilation of ampullary portion bilaterally. Post evacuation film reveals good emptying. The impression says: 1. Normal uterus 2. Bilateral tubal occlusion. I have to wait a week to see my gyn, please help me understand what im reading.
According to HSG report uterus appears normal.Contrast is filled normally in uterine cavity. There in bilateral block in Fallopian tubes in axillary region resulting in mild to moderate dilatation of ampullary portion. Post evacuation stage shows normal emptying of contrast. Hope i have answered your query.
