What Are The Findings Of The MRI Result Of A 31 Year Old?

my son is 31 years old and has epilepsy. His MRI showed this: Several scattered T2/FLAIR hyperintensities involving the subcortical, deep, and surgical white matter as well as the corpus callosum with

corresponding T1 hypointensity and restricted diffusion. with the results suggesting demylinating disease such as MS. Any other ideas?

Hi,

MS is one of the suspected conditions with findings as seen on MRI scan of your son. This needs further detailed evaluation clinically to assess the symptoms and if the fit the diagnosis of MS. There are many other conditions like vascular inefficiencies which need to be ruled out before confirming a diagnosis of MS clinically.
