Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i like to get high on benadryl. i average about 100 pills a day of the 25 mg. i take on average 20-30 pills at a time. i have been doing this for the last 6 months. now i notice if i go 4 days without any, i can tell i start going thru withdrawal symptoms. what organs are affected and am i going to go thru some real bad detox.
The withdrawal symptoms occur due to the drug's effect on the brain. Your liver may also have been damaged by now but the withdrawal symptoms are due to the changes in the brain. Rather than stopping abruptly, you should try reducing your intake gradually. This will minimize the withdrawal symptoms and make it easier for you to quit.
Best wishes.
