What Are The Normal Blood Sugar Levels After Food?

I didnt take a blood sugar reading before eating breakfast but about half hour after eating blood sugar level was 167. One hour later i rechecked it cuz i was dizzy and light headed. It read 112. I am sick right now with a head cold virus. When should i become concerned about my levels? I am hypoglycemic.

Hello,
Normal blood sugar levels 2 hour after meals should be below 140.Any value above 200 after two hours of meals is called as diabetes.Normal fasting blood sugar levels are below 100.
As far as your giddiness is concerned,it seems to be due to cold virus and possible nasal blockage.
Get proper blood sugar levels done by getting fasting,PP and HBA1c done to confirm the diabetes.
Hypoglycemic symptoms generally appear if blood sugar levels are below 70.
Thanks
