What Are The Normal Values For Cortisol Post ACTH At Different Time Intervals?
can you please explain to me what the average ranges are for cortisol 30 minute post ACTH. and range for cortisol 60 minutes post ACTH AND THE NORMAL RANGE FOR CORTISOL BASELINE SERUM. AND FINALLY A NORMAL CORTISOL TOTAL. I AM LOOKING AT MY LABS AND AM VERY CONFUSED AS TO HW TO READ THEM. IF YOU COULD ASSIST ME WITH THE NORMAL RANGES OF ALL LISTED ABOVE THAT WOULD BE OF GREAT HELP TO ME. nevermind, i should have known nothing is free these days. assumed drs were there to assist and help u understand. i pay enough money for that every month w all my helth problems
The normal ranges are an increase in cortisol after stimulation by ACTH is expected. Cortisol level after ACTH stimulation should be higher than 18 to 20 mcg/dL or 497 to 552 nmol/L, depending on the dose of ACTH used.
