EEG abnormalities do not necessarily mean an increased risk of getting seizures.
First of all, about 5% of normal people could have abnormal EEGs.
Secondly,
brain damage due to any reason (
stroke included) could give rise to abnormalities in EEG. So, in your case, it is possible that past stroke is responsible for the EEG abnormalities.
In any case, since you have not had seizures, you do not require any anti-epileptic drugs.
