What Are The Possible Treatments For High BP , Headache And Dizziness ?

My blood pressure has always averaged 114/70. The past two weeks it has spiked for no reason. Quit smoking 2 months ago, don,t drink, cholesterol levels are excellent, 5'3" 123 lbs and am not under stress. My business is closed for the season and I have income to cover my expenses until I reopen. I had been having headaches and feeling dizzy. My blood pressure over the bast two weeks is 209/125.

Hello
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
The normal range of blood pressure is around 120/80 mm of Hg in an average healthy person of around 20 -30 -40 years .
In your case B P is 209 /125 mm of Hg .
This is a very serious condition , as you are also having headache and dizziness , this may be due to.
1 Coronary artery disease , diagnosis can be confirmed by E K G and EC HO .
2 Congestive heart failure is the another most important cause . Diagnosis can be confirmed by ecg and EC HO .
3 COPD , as I have noted in so many cases , such type of high blood pressure , so get in X ray as well clinical and physical examination.
As you didn't mention the age , so very difficult to say anything .
At the moment this high blood pressure is concerning . You need to investigated with E K G and E CHO to isolate the case. I would recommend you visit a CARDIOLOGIST at the earliest & sort this problem.
Good luck.
