Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
First, have you been tested for
Dengue. Your symptoms could be as common in
malaria and
typhoid. So you need to make sure that the infection is that particular infection before commiting to a treatment.
As for dengue, there is no specific antibiotic or
antiviral treatment.
The treatment is largely supportive.
Antipyretcis for fever
Anti diarrheals for
diarrhoea So on and so forth
Make sure you have plenty of fluids. Hydration is critical. Monitor your platelet counts and PCV. If the former gets too low, or you bleed, or if the latter goes too high, you may need admission.
Dengue usually takes 10 days.
Make sure to get the tests.
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further. Best of luck.
