What Are The Post Operation Instructions After The Nose Skin Graft?
had nose skin graft 9 days ago , had button removed at 7 days , doctor said looks good just keep applying polysporin . Said I could shower but not rub , never said anything about cleaning the wound just polysporin . Today was first day I showered but so much ointment lesion didn t even get wet , should I be doing more ? some build up of ointment and some small scabbing even thou moist
Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
The lesions may be related to mental status. It may be precipitated or exacerbated by anxiety,depression or other mental upsets.
Internal diseases, or external irritants or allergens may also promote the disease.
I recommend you to take a long course of antihistaminics and anxiolytics. For short period,oral steroids in tapering dose may be taken. Apply mild steroid cream or tacrolimus oint. on the lesions. Avoid soap bath. Dettol liq.may be used for bath.
Avoid the food stuffs which cause itching like cows milk, soya, curd,fermented food,chicken,fish,prawns,eggs..etc
Have patience and be positive.
