What Are The Reasons For Shooting Pain In Right Upper Leg And Difficulty In Bearing Weight On Leg?

in last couple wks., upon arising in morning ... I have shooting Right upper leg pain (areas in front and back) -- cannot bear weight on that leg for about 5 minutes -- and periods of this sudden pain will come on 1-3 times during day (altho not as intense or as long ... but it is a jabbing sudden pain! ( I have noticed it is more likely after I ve been in one position, for a while)

It can be due to two reasons. It can be nerve compression at spine or it can be meniscus injury to knee. I think it is better if you get an MRI done for your spine first. If there is a disc prolapse than it can be treated accordingly. If MRI is normal than you will be tension free. I also want to advice you against cold temperature in morning time.
