What Are The Round White Patches On The Thigh Which Sometime Cause Irritation?
i have two circle shaped white patches on the top of one of my thighs. i have a tan and these patches stand up massively. i do not suffer with any medical history. they appeared over a year ago and its quite upsetting. they do become very itchy. i have tried all sorts of creams for ezcema and creams in the bath but i dont know what else to use? any suggestions?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be due to: 1. Ringworm (tinea) infection 2. Contact dermatitis 3. Urticaria
Symptomatic relief can be obtained with: 1. Application of Calamine lotion for symptomatic relief. 2. Intake of antihistamine preparations like Allegra 3. Application of topical steroid & antifungal ointment like Clotrimazole. 4. Antibiotics to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
If symptoms still persist, kindly visit a Dermatologist & get a proper clinical examination done to find the exact cause.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
