I had a perforated colon in Feb. Had colostomy surgery. Sepsis had set in as well. Recovered from both emergencies and am now thinking of a colostomy reversal. However, I m very concerned about the side effects Have had problems with my bowels for many years- any information would be appreciated
Hello In general a colostomy reversal goes very well without any problems but, as with any surgery there is a small rise of infection or a tear in the surgical connection
