Hi. I m currently taking a prescribed cocktail of medications and constantly worry about how they may affect each other; whether it really is safe to be taking all of these every day? Here is my current daily list: Morphine 15mg tabs - average of 2 per day but can take 1 every 4 hrs. Diazepam (Valium) 5mg tabs - 1 tab 3x daily Provigil 200mg tabs - 2x per day Omeprazole - 40mg per day Verapamil ER 120mg cap - 1x per day Zolpidem (Ambien) 10mg tab - 1x at night Cymbalta 60mg cap - 1x per day Flovent Diskus inhalation powder 100mcg - inhale 2x per day Astelin - nasally inhaled 2x per day Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray - inhaled 1x per day OTC: Colace - every other day to counteract side effects from morphine Miralax - same as Colace, 1x every other day And one regular daily vitamin. I obviously see a doctor to be receiving the meds that I am. I actually see 3 different doctors that prescribe all of these meds. I take a full list into each one and any time they try to give me more I show them the list to make sure they re fully aware of what I m already on. However, sometimes I still question and would like another opinion. Are there any of these meds that I should beware of taking too closely together? Is long-term use of this combination going to affect any of my organs (especially liver) negatively? Is this mixture dangerous in any way? Please help. Thank you. P.S. I am a 37 yr old female. 6 0 tall. And, very overweight at about 420 lbs currently. Medical history of severe anxiety, depression at times, PTSD, fibromyalgia, Aspergers, mild allergies and asthma. More recently some heart palpitations as well. Six pregnancies, 3 children (via c-sections). 1 ectopic rupture, 1 miscarriage, and 1 stillbirth.
