What Are The Side Effects Of Betnesol Injection During Pregnancy?
my wife is of 34 weeks 3 days of pregnancy,the doctor advised her to have betnesol injection(12ml) 2 doses. her sugar levels are fasting 101/110 and post lunch 154/160,and now after she has reduced her sugar levels to 101/110 in fasting & 134/160 in post lunch as the doctor adviced her.will she have any side effects by using betnesol injection for her and baby? plzz reply soon

Hi,
Betnosol injection is given when your doctor is suspecting a preterm birth. In diseases like diabetes or hypertension, labor pain can start early much before date. Such prematurely born babies can have breathing difficulty because of lung immaturity. Betnosol is given to promote baby's lung maturity. You can take that without much side effects.
