I was prescribed Eptoin 300 mg daily about 22 years back as i used to experience a transient involuntary muscle tightening running from the bottom of one foot right up to my face and passing through my arm. If I stayed still the tightening vanished in a few seconds but if i continued to walk or swim the arm and leg would cramp up ; if I forced myself to speak the affected side of the face would contour and I could not get the speech out clearly. There were some changed in the EEG. Eptoin cured me completely and almost overnight ; it was a miracle ; However i ignored my self and did not see a doctor until about 4 years ago who put me on 300 mg / 200 mg dosage on alernate day basis in order to weed me out. I again ignored going to the doctor and here I am asking you about the possible long term side effects of Eptoin. Since the last 10 -12 years I have been suffering from head ache episodes which may be sinus or migraine related. Can you please let me know the side effects please. i promise to see a neuro surgeon if you reply soon. Thanks.
