Hi, my friend took an overdose of paracetamol about 3 weeks ago. She was taken to hospital and treated for it. She was on a drip for 12 hours and at one point it was unsure whether she would live. She took 32 paracetamol and they were in her system for about 10 and a half hours. She has been told that she will be fine, but not to drink because of her liver but she says that since then she hasn't had her period. It has been long over due, and she's worried it has made her infertile. Is it possible that taking the overdose could have damaged her reproductive system? She is 16, about 5ft 4 and really slender. She has over dosed once before, at 13 but has had regular periods since then.
