What Are The Side Effects Of Alka Seltzer Cold Medicine?
I drank 2 alka seltzer cold medicine this morning and 5 minutes after experienced the worst Lower sternum pain ever. it hurt so much I became dizzy, clammy cold sweat, and slow heart beat. I have never had this before. I made my self throw up the alka seltzer and put a cld wet cloth on my head and finally after about 15 minutes I felt fine. What could be wrong
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal bloating and gas can occur as side effect with alka seltzer. In case of persisting symptoms, kindly avoid the drug. Lower sternal pain or clammy cold sweat are not the usual side effect of the drug. Cardiac related conditions can present with sweating or sternal pain. Kindly assess your cardiac condition by an ECG or Echo scan.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
