What Are The Side-effects Of Delisprin And Dubagest?

I had a miscarriage in December 2011. Miscarriage happened within 10-12 weeks of pregnancy. The first ultrasound after 7 weeks there was heartbeat and later on the 12 th month ultrasound did not reveal any ultrasound. the cause of the miscarriage could not be known after all the tests.

I have conceived once again now. This is presently my 5 th week and my doctor has advised me take delisprin 75 one a day and dubagest 200 mg through vagina twice a day..please advise if these medicines have any side effects and whether I should take them??

Dear madam,I understand your concern.In
my opinion delisprin is aspirin and dubagest is progesterone.Usually they are given in patients with previous miscarriages. The aspirin prevents the formation of any microclots, which impair the blood supply to fetus and growth of fetus.Dubagest which is a progesterone hormone helps in the maintenance of pregnancy. It is similar to natural progesterone hormone which is most important for the maintenance of pregnancy. They dont have any harmful effects on the fetus. You need not worry.
Take good rest and nutritious diet.
Dont take any physical or mental strain.

Best regards...Dr.srilatha
