What Are The Side Effects Of Epsolin Tablets?
sir, I am taking epsolin tablets since last 10 years. This is because after first atteck & completion of three years my doctor asked to stop dose gradually. But suddenly after stopping of dose ,I have another attack of epilapcy. & since then I am continueing the same 300 mg every day. Pl give me side effects & other precutions.

Phenytoin which is the ingredient in Epsolin has a side effect profile which commonly includes slurred speech, confusion, unsteadiness. Sometimes it can cause a low BP and painful gums. Some of the precautions are that you will need are regular blood checks for about every 6 months, looking out for presence of any allergic reaction. Concurrent medications may delay or hasten its metabolism, so you need to consult your physician whenever there are additional medications to be taken as they may react with phenytoin too.
