will sinus cause breathless n dryness in throat.Feel like not enough oxygen to breathe in.At times will feel papitation in the heart.I got a lot of mucus flowing backward to my throat. I tried to cough out hard but it cost my chest pain as if going to get a heart attact or heart disirder .Can you please explain to me Y
Hello, I understand your concern..If you have a nasal block( may be due to deviated septum or polyps etc) you will be having a open mouth breathing. This in turn will lead to dry mouth and Infection of throat. plus, if you have sinuses blocked,you will have discharge trickling into the throat and causes a sensation of phlegm being stuck at throat. If you were my patient, I would do a nasal endoscopy and a CT scan of the sinuses and proceed further.You can use decongestant drops like otrivin,for a short relief. I suggest you to have a consultation with an ENT surgeon at the earliest.Regards
