Tufacne is a form of vitamin-A commonly prescribed to treat severe cystic acne. Generally, it is well tolerated however it may cause scaling, burning, redness, and swelling of skin, joint pain, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, bleeding from the nose, dry mouth, and swelling of the lips and eyes. It is not reported to cause any sexual dysfunction in males.
