What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Osteoarthritis?
HI DOC...IVE BEEN BITTEN BY AN UNKNOWN PITBULL IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD...AFTER 2 MONTHS I GOT PAIN IN BOTH KNEES AND THE PAIN STRETCHES FROM MY KNEES DOWN TO THE SOLES OF MY FEET AND UPWARDS TO MY HIP AREA...I HAD TO WRESTLE WITH THE DOG TO FREE ME...NOW A DOCTOR THINKS I HAVE OSTEOARTHRITIS...
dear friend your two conditions seems to be un related two different issues if you have observed the dog for 10 days and dog is keeping fine does not show signs of rabies or if you have taken full rabies vaccination following the bite or took the booster shot following the bite if you were already immunized for rabies you can safely forget the pit-bull and now concentrate on the knee.
your knees may be having osteoarthritis a simple x-ray will give enough information regarding the problem so i suggest you get your knees x-rayed secondly if there are creaking feeling if you put your palm on the knees then bend and extend them you can be reasonably sure osteoarthritis has set in
