What Are The Symptoms Of A CSF Leakage In The Spine?

I truly believe I have a csf leak in my spine. My neurologist thinks it is a migraine problem. But it does feel like a migraine. My systems are head skin feel pulling pain constantly, ringing in both ears, watery eyes, left numb face, left ear feels full, no energy. I can get most of these symptoms to subside by lying completely flat for two to three hours. Need a neurologist to believe me. I also had a grade 2.5 slip/break in my spine s1 and c5 that was fixed by a fusion three years ago.

Hello,

"As"per your clinical history is concerned the symptoms which you have described is due to migraine only so ask your doctor to prescribe a preventive medication for it like [Amitriptyline]regularly and follow few preventive steps like this -

1)If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, try to avoid them.

2)Try to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake

3)Make a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress.

4)Exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines.

5)Obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight.

6)Reduce the effects of estrogen. If you're a woman who has migraines and estrogen seems to trigger or make your headaches worse, you may want to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen. So discuss with your Doctor about it before taking.

Hope that helps
