Hello Sir, I m Harika,a final year Computer Engineering student, working on medical product design as a part of my final thesis.I m working on designing a device that can detect and predict an Epileptic seizure.I have talked to several patients and their caretakers till now and I m trying to interact with neurologists currently.I have a few questions and I request you to clarify them. 1.When a patient gets admitted after a seizure, what data do you need to give him a proper medication(duration of seizure, etc)? 2.Does heartbeat of a patient play any role in detecting or predicting a seizure? 3.What all symptoms can help me in detecting the seizure? 4.What all symptoms can help me in predicting the seizure? 5.In which area of a human body can we observe all those symptoms? 6.What are your basic expectations from my device?
