My son has epilepsy. He has not had a seizure in years but just had an eeg that still shows activity. Today he got a very hard static shock off of his locker at school. It made him fall back on other kids and then he was disoriented. He said it felt like it shot through his body to his head and then the back of his head was hurting. At first his head felt very light and like it had a ring around it. Then he said it felt real heavy and then he was dizzy. After about 45 minutes he felt fine. Could this have been a seizure?
Yes ,it is definitely a seizure . Symptoms of seizure episode are loss of conciousness and involuntary movenments of limbs with postictal disorientation with postictal weakness or numbness .
