What Are The Symptoms Of Diverticulitis?
I do not know if I have diverticulitis or not. Could not get a CT scan on Friday. The doctor prescribed metronidazole 500 MB 3 times a day and ciprofloxocin HCL 500 MG. I have nausea, and when I pee, I pass gas and there is poop on me. I feel awful. If it is diverticulitis and since I do not know for sure what it is will the medicine work.

You can't conclude it yourself, you need either an X-ray abdomen, CT or ultrasound to get it diagnosed with the doctor.
If you have blood in stools, pain, bloated feeling, nausea vomiting etc these are the more appropriate symptoms of diverticulitis.
