What Are The Symptoms Of Esophageal Tear?

I have a history of bulimia. Today while purging I noticed blood in my vomit and now have the feeling of something lodged in the lower part of my throat and pain when swallowing. Could this be an esophageal tear, and if so, will it resolve without medical attention?

Hello
Thanks for your query
Esophageal tear is characterized by reching, vomiting, difficulty in deglutition and usually having a history of alcoholism and may also occur after a bout of alchol consumption. You better should go for a barium swallow atleast if you have any doubt and consult a gastro surgeon.
Thank you
