Hi, my Doctor thinks I may have fibromyalgia. I have also got osteoarthritis. I have looked at the list of symptoms and although I have about 90% of the ones stated on the list on this site I do not always get pain in the areas mapped out where the pressure tests are carried out. Is it possible that it is not fibromyalgia?
It is possible. Doctors often use fibromyalgia to explain that it not attributed to any anatomical cause. It's hard to say without more of your symptoms. If you do have fibromyalgia, I'd recommend asking your doctor to see a pain specialist, so that they can properly diagnose and treat you.
