Hi,I am Dr. Carol Rogala (Emergency Medicine). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Im a healthy 43 year old non smoker. I leaned forward to pick up a magazine and all of a sudden I felt a pain in my left shoulder. It also felt like a stabbing pain in my chest when I I tried to breathe. After 15 minutes it eased up so I didn't get the stabbing pain. Then I was fine. Could that be a heartattack?
HI Well come to HCM The pain that is being described here could be due to poor posture, this would be the first possibility can be taken in to consideration, for the cardiac disease if such symptoms occurs on and often this better to get done the EKG, hope this information helps.
