What Are The Symptoms Of Herpes Sycosis?

Okay i have a HW question- Which of the following is true about herpes sycosis. A) herpes lesions appear over the beard area B) it results from repeated shaving while a lesion is active C) the virus can spread into tiny cuts in new areas on the face D) all of the above. I cant seem to find info on herpes sycosis but only herpes in general

Thanks for query. As such there is no herpes sycosis.beard infection is usually caused by fungus called tinea barbae.Infection often begins on the chin or neck, but in severely affected patients, tinea barbae may cover the entire bearded area of the face and neck, occasionally resulting in indurated plaques or nodules.topical and oral antifungals are mainstay of treatment.regards
