What Are The Symptoms Of Kidney Failure In Elderly?

Thank you! what are the signs of kidney failure in the elderly? My mother is 95 for the last two days she can only produce a few drops of urine and it is dark. She is only eating about 10% of her food and drinking very little fluids. She has a doctors appointment on 2-10-11.

Hello

Thanks for choosing HCM. Mostly the reason of that red urine is due to infection and lack of proper flyid intake. Please have an urinalysis done which will give a clear picture. Please give her some appetizer syrup and plenty of fluids if there is no fluid overload.

Regards
Dr.Alekhya
