What Are The Symptoms Of Schizophrenia?
my friends son is 27 yrs old. he is very smart and has always been. Lately he is talking crazy stuff. Like Steven king is God and things like the guy on scarface cured him and he quit taking his meds. He is really serious. I have checked a few sites and I think its skitofrania. but could it be something else? can it be cured? or at least treatable?

It could be another psychiatric illness rather than schizophrenia. If it is episodic, mainly involves inflated self-esteem, increased talkativeness, grandiosity, etc. I would advise you to take him to a psychiatrist as early as possible.
