What Are The Symptoms Of Thyroid?

Hello I have recently been involved with blood work and an ultra sound to my thyroid due to an enlarged thyroid found a few years ago. Most recently my symptoms have become weight gain, hair loss body pain, irregular and very heavy menstrual cycles mood swings with depression and bruising can you tell me anything

I carefully read your concern and i will try to give you some more information.
The thyroid hormones are responsable for the metabolic status of the organism, they will define the energy production by every cell.
So, an under active thyroid would be ''translated'' as a lazy metabolism,i.e. feeling sleepy, lower heart rates, constipation, weight gain, low libido and irregular menstrual cycle, depression, ect.,
You mentioned that your thyroid was enlarged a few years ago, did you do blood examinations at that time? Was your thyroid normo-functioning?
Anyway, once you get the response you will have more informations about your actual thyroid function and if is the thyroid the cause of your symptoms.
