there are many reasons for the burning sense of eyes.. the causes conjunctivitis, keratitis, foreign body in eyes, sudden exposure to bright light etc.. hence you need to be clinically examined and evaluated.. only if you are not able to see distance or far things suggestive of refractive error.. consult a ophthalmologist...
