What Are The Treatment Available For Ear Cancer?

I am caring for a 75 y/o lady with chronic left ear pain. She has been treated with antibiotics with no effect. She was taking narcotics for pain but with little effect only to the pain. It was later found out she has cancer on the area. Lately she was given with cipralex ear drops which she took for about two months on top of the narcotics. It seemed to provide better control of the pain symptoms. How does it work with the pain?
