Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am recovering from a foot stress fracture (I am an aerobics instructor and basically did too much). Due to bandaging my foot too tight I got a pinched nerve in same foot (ahhhh!!!). Thought all was okay but now my foot has a dull ache with what feels like pin pricks going up to toe. Is this just my foot still recovering from fracture and pinched nerve?
hi, stressfractures can be very well treated with plaster application. But plaster application is not just a task but a skill. It needs to be done with utmost care as tight application can cause compression on the neuro-vasc.bundle in the inter metatarsal space and cause morton's neuralgia. For this the treatment is rest and soft chappals ( if plaster is removed )
