What Are Torn Skin And Raised Bumps On Labia Post Sex Suggestive Of?
Hello, I ve had sex with my boyfriend and after I noticed torn skin(3 little raised bumps) on my labia I went to the er and she said it didn t seam like herpes but now it looks like one big sore and I don t know what to do I m on a skin antibiotics but it doesn t look like it s clearing up
An appearance of multiple sore with raised bumps over the labia indicate most possible Herpes manifestation. My guidelines at present: - Vaginal hygiene with antiseptic liquid or soap - Local application of aloe vera gel and turmeric paste for ayurvedic healing properties - Avoidance of protected or unprotected sex till recovery - Plenty of liquids to prevent secondary bacterial infection in urinary tract - Continue medications as per the guidance of your OBGYN as anti viral Acyclovir, Valacyclovir or others
Remaining in regular consultation follow up with all needed antiviral medications help to recover at earliest which takes a period of time to settle all the lesions revert back to normal condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
